Chilli Oil
Make your food more flavourful and tasty!
Simple chilli oil that can make any kind of food that you like taste even better! I’m serious, not even joking!
Personally, I love spicy food and I like adding extra chilli oil to my meal. Now i suggest you try it and feel the joy of chilli in your mouth.

All serving sizes in this recipe is low FODMAP following the Monash University guidelines.
Ingredients:
Dry Chilli 15 g
Sesame seeds 15 g
Salt 5 g
Sugar 5 g
Extra Virgin olive oil 150 g
Shallot 2 pcs (Small size)
Star anise 2 pcs
Bay leaf 2 pcs
Cinnamon stick 5 cm
Instructions:
First thing we have to make infused shallot oil with a thin slice of shallot.
Preheat your pot with low heat and add shallot, star anise, bay leaf and cinnamon stick. Cook for 5 minutes until all the flavour has come out. It’s important to not over cook the shallot because it’s gonna make your infused oil taste weak.
While you cook infused oil, mix dry chilli, sesame seed, salt and sugar into
a food processor and blend it.
After 5 minutes, remove the shallot and keep the spices in the infused oil and add your chilli mix. Cook for 2 minutes and turn off the heat.
Your chilli oil is ready! Put into a glass jar.
You can serve chilli oil with any kind of dishes and make your food more flavourful and tasty.
